Introduction Welcome to Survey-Guide.co.uk, this site is designed to give UK residents a simple but effective guide on how to get maximum earnings by taking online surveys. This site is based on my personal experience and only includes sites which are free to join, reputable and which I would recommend. I am a current member of all the sites listed below and regularly fill in surveys sent out by them. At the end of this guide you will also find other ways of making money online which I use and personally recommend.
Step 1 - Creating a dedicated email account First setup a dedicated email account. This account will be used as an inbox for your survey invitations, to avoid filling up your regular inbox and also to allow you to easily see when there is a new survey to carry out. For this email account I recommend the following providers: 1) GMail A GMail account is free, has an inbox big enough that you never need to delete your emails and my favorite and the most useful part when using it for online surveys is that you can setup a personalized Google homepage with the search bar but also display on the same page new and recent emails in your GMail inbox. To get GMail you currently need to receive an invite from someone who already has a GMail account, if you do not know anyone with a GMail account you can request an invitation from me below.
2) Hotmail Hotmail offer a free email account with a very large inbox so like GMail you don't need to worry about it filling up. With hotmail you can setup MSN Messenger which will alert you when a new email arrives in your inbox and also there is a new page in Beta stage called is live.co.uk which can be configured as your homepage as an MSN version of the Google homepage.
3) Paypal Paypal is like an online wallet. Here you can safely store money which you pay in from your credit card or bank account but more importantly many websites require you to have a Paypal account so that they can pay your earnings into this. With the money in your Paypal account you can then buy products from websites which accept Paypal such as eBay or transfer your earnings to your bank account.
4) Firefox Download the Firefox browser for easier and safer web browsing. This site is designed for Firefox!
